Half Moon Bay

After the tutorial island Thule you finally arrived at Camp Icarius on the continent of Eudoria.
You might be tempted to explore the vast open world; but beware that you don't have any teleporters yet. A hand full of these will be unlocked after finishing this mission chain.

Requirements:
  • A low damage weapon. The guns from the Thule tutorial work great.

Note: If you talk to Saana you can choose to either do the Icarius mission chain or the Half Moon Bay mission chain. The latter is added more recently and looks more beautiful. Both chains have the same kind of missions and rewards.




Upon arival talk to sergeant Saana.

When asked if you want to help get rid of the disgusting frogs select
"Yes, this sounds worthwhile"
In the next dialog box select
"Take me to Half Moon Bay, please"

Note: if you chose to stay here, you cannot do the Half Moon Bay mission. You will automatically be assigned the Camp Icarus mission chain.
This walk-through takes the Half Moon Bay route. 



 

Welcome to Half moon Bay! 

Go talk to Sergeant Zobenis.


No one Likes Frogs

Sergeant Zobenis will give you the task to kill 5 Tripudion Puny on the beach.
Kill them and return to him.  He will send you to Captain Hera, just over at the settlement.
Reward for accepting: 7K universal ammo
Reward for completing: Choice of increase in either Handgun or Rifle skill




Security Grid Maintenance
Captain Hera

After talking to Captain Hera, head over to gun Turret 2 and fix the cables.
  • Connect the red and black wires
  • Connect black and yellow wires
  • Connect red and yellow wires
Reward for completing: Increase in Anatomy skill





Missing in Action
Valkyrie Wreckage

Find the missing scout by following the way point.
Reward for accepting: 2K of universal ammo







Blow Them All To Hell
Robot Structure

Head over to the robot camp by following the waypoint.
When you get near to the machinery, you will see a dialog pop up,
Select "Try to short out the control panel"
Reward for completing: CDF Scout Harness




The Trophy Hunt
Aila Bukin

Walk up the ramp to the right of Captain Hera (your left if you face her) and talk
to Aila Bukin. She will give you the Trophy hunt mission.
Hunt Northwest (63189, 87416) of the camp and collect :
  • 10 Caudatergus trophies (drops from Caudatergus Puny)
  • 3 Berycled trophies (drops from Berycled Puny and Juvenile)
Return to Aila Bukin.
Reward for completing: Increase in Anatomy skill



Once More Into The Wild 
Daikiba Cub

After talking to Aila go follow the waypoint and collect:
  • 3 Daikiba trophies (drops from Daikiba cub and Juvenile)
Return to Aila Bukin
Reward for completing: Increase in Shortblades skill



Big Game Hunting
Starving Atrax

Go and kill the Starving Atrax.
This is a relatively strong mob, especially for new players. So try you best weapons, like the rocket launcher you got from Thule.
Return to Aila to get your Reward.
Reward for accepting: 10K universal ammo
Reward for completing: Bukin's Blade



To Agir

When you come down from the ramp, Bray will start talking and set you on your course northwest.
Just follow the waypoint.
Reward for completing: Increase in Anatomy skill


Fertile Waters & Washed Up
Washed Ashore Captain

When talking to Professor Birch you will be given two missions. One to find the boat and bring back fertilizer and the other to find back the captain.
The captain can be found at 61925, 89052
The boat can be found at  62008, 89130
Reward for completing Fertile Waters: 1 Lysterium Stone
Reward for completing Washed up: Increase in Courage skill




A Sensitive Find
Sensor

Inspect the suspicious sensor and report back to Professor Birch.
The answer to complete the sequence is 64.

Guardian of the Paranoid

Scout the way-points for Professor Birch
Reward for completing: Increase in Courage skill


 Southward Journey

Deliver Professor Birch's letter to Dr. Daryll in Cape Corinth.


Talk to the Cape Corinth Official

Talk to the Cape Corinth Official who will send you to all kind of guides around the building. They will teach you a lot of information about the game and the game dynamics.
Important however is that you talk to the Teleporter Technician, since he will unlock a number of teleporters for you.

Note: While you are here, it is a good idea to go to the Iron Mission Terminal and select the Iron Mission Puny Creatures Stage I. You can find this terminal in the island with NPCs behind the Cape Corinth Official
While you are at it; have a look at the Daily Mission Terminal. These are small missions that you can do daily and award daily tokens. Those tokens can be spend at the Daily Token Trader you find right next to the Terminal.

This completes the Half Moon Bay Mission chain.
For the next mission chain, you can take the teleporter to Half Moon Cove; which should be available after talking to the Teleporter Technician.
